Privacy Policy – Saalbach Live

This policy applies to the Android app Saalbach Live (package com.saalbach.tv), published under the name Saalbach Live (“we”). Contact: support@saalbach-live.com.

Short version

We do not collect, store or sell personal data on our own servers. We have no user accounts, no advertising and no analytics. The app does not use your device location, contacts, camera or microphone.

What stays on your device

• Your favorite webcams, selected webcam, volume and alert settings.
• Preview pictures of webcams, kept briefly so they can be shown quickly.
• If the app crashes, a short technical report (device model, Android version, app version, error text) is stored locally. It is only sent if you tap “Send crash report”; you see and send the e-mail yourself.

Third-party services the app connects to

To work, the app loads content from these services. Like any internet request, they receive your IP address and technical request data (such as device and browser type) and handle it under their own privacy policies:

• feratel media technologies AG (www.feratel.com): live webcam player, webcam preview pictures and the “Saalbach Live” TV stream. The feratel player is displayed inside the app and feratel may set cookies or similar technologies. www.feratel.com
• Open-Meteo (open-meteo.com): weather and conditions. Only the coordinates and elevation of the webcam’s village are sent, never your own location.
• Antenne Salzburg: radio stream.
• saalbach.com (Saalbach Hinterglemm Leogang Fieberbrunn): resort information, opened when you tap its link.
• Google Play services / Google Cast: only if you use casting to a TV; Google’s privacy policy applies.

Notifications

If you switch on alerts (fresh snow, clear view), the app asks for notification permission and periodically checks conditions in the background for your favorite webcams. Alerts are off by default and can be switched off at any time.

Your rights

Because we do not hold personal data about you, there is usually nothing to access or delete. For questions or requests under the GDPR (access, rectification, erasure, objection, complaint to your data protection authority) write to support@saalbach-live.com.

Children

The app is not directed at children and does not knowingly collect data from anyone.

Changes

We may update this policy; the date above shows the latest version.
